Synge Out Loud: The Playboy of the Western World – The Musical takes to the Road
Acting royalty takes centre stage in Dublin, Kerry and Galway this August as legendary actress Kate O’Toole takes on the role of narrator for The Playboy of the Western World – The Musical.
This mischievous, musical adaptation of Synge’s classic is being presented outdoors under canvas, in the style of a 1950’s theatrical fit-up!

Afternoon Art Workshops at Muckross Traditional Farms (4-7 year olds)
We’ve created an extra special alternative to our Summer camps especially for the Under 7’s. We’re offering our younger campers a ‘mini art camp’ experience at Muckross Traditional Farms, set in a safe and structured environment.

Summer Camps at Muckross (8-12 years)
Our camps are located in The Schoolhouse, in the heart of Muckross Traditional Farms in Killarney. The camp will cover a wide variety of media, exploring the natural world through paint, print, collage, typography, illustration, paper construction and clay. As with all our workshops, the emphasis will be placed on the process rather than the finished piece, enabling children to make their own creative choices and encouraging confidence in their work.
Children will be fully immersed in nature at Muckross, such as farmyard animals, plots, flora, woodlands, as well as awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountains. We’ll go beyond the studio to explore and be inspired through outdoor activities
