Muckross Traditional Farms is pleased to offer bespoke cultural activities and interactive demonstrations to groups of any size. These activities can be combined with a farms visit and include lunch or refreshments as required. Alternatively these groups can have a standalone programme of activities using our all-weather games pitch or schoolhouse facility complete with audio visual and kitchen. The school house can accommodate a sit down lunch for 150pax plus people.

Some of the Activities available include, Gaelic Games workshop to include Hurling & Football, Céilí Dancing & Bodhran Workshop, Harnessing the Horse, Percussion Music Irish Style – the Bones, the Spoons and the Bodhrán, Butter Making, Baking Workshop (Soda Bread & Scones), Whiskey Tasting, Sœgan Chair & Ropemaking, Tug of War, Wheel barrow Racing, Turf Stacking , Horse Shoe Throwing, An Introduction to the Irish Music with the Harp , the Bodhrán and the Uillean Pipes and an Introduction to the Irish Language.
